Exploring the coastline around St Briac

by Stark Jeremy October 7 2013, 18:57 beach

The coastal village of St Briac sur Mer , between Dinard and Lancieux , is a popular seaside village, with a good selection of cafés and restaurants.Just north of the village , you can follow the coastal footpath to a series of quiet sandy beaches , gently shelving and ideal for swimming.

The easiest way to start is the free car park in St Briac, just by the golf course, on the 'Chemin de la La Mare Hue'. From here it is a couple of metres walk to the first beach 'Le Port Hue'.

From the beach Le Port Hue, the coastal footpath loops round the Pointe de la Haye to the a number of sandy coves and the Plage du Perron. There are beautiful views out to sea, when we did the walk we saw the charter ship 'Le Renard' under full sail heading back to St Malo.
